Happy new year to all my readers 🎉🥳! Wishing you immense happiness, success, and health for 2026.. this year’s gonna be good, I can feel it.
This is officially my first blog of 2026, and honestly, I’m quite excited.. not because I have some grand plan, but because this time, I want to keep things simple. Shorter posts, more frequent ones.. less fluff, more real stuff. So yeah, that’s the first goal of the year right there.
The Resolutions (But Realistic Ones) 💪
This year, I’ve set a few clear promises for myself.. things I will achieve, no matter what. It’s my promise and my challenge to myself, and I’m all in for it.
- Shorter blogs, more posts. I’ve realised it’s not about how much I write but how often I do. Writing regularly keeps me sane.
- Eat healthy and at home as much as possible. It helps the wallet and the waistline 😅
- Invest in my health. I already have a yoga and gym subscription, I literally just need to go. That’s it. Just go.
- Be a little more disciplined. Plan a few things ahead like what to wear for work tomorrow, or what’s for breakfast. Maybe even cut down on sweets (the real tough one) and build a skincare routine. Yes, men need that too.
- Consistency! That’s the real keyword of the year. Whether it’s workouts, waking up early, or getting proper sleep.. I’ve gotta show up no matter what.
- Read at least 2 pages a day. Any genre, any topic. Just to keep my mind open and learning something new daily.
The Approach 🕒
I’ve been reading The 12-Week Year and thought, why not try it out for myself? The idea’s simple.. shorter goal cycles mean faster accountability. So instead of chasing all these goals at once, I’ll pick one or two every quarter and stick to them till they become habits. Small wins, stacked over time.
The Perspective Shift 🌱
I think this year’s theme for me is “intentional living.” Less noise, more focus. Less talking, more doing. I’ve realised growth doesn’t come from huge changes.. it comes from the small, quiet things you do consistently every day. Like drinking water, journaling a few lines, or showing up to stretch even when you don’t feel like it.
Sometimes, chasing big dreams can wait.. right now, I just want to become a person who keeps promises to himself. One small habit at a time 💫
Sometimes the journey isn’t about chasing milestones or ticking boxes.. it’s about rebuilding trust with yourself. Every time you show up, even in the smallest way, you remind your mind that you can rely on you. And when that happens, discipline stops feeling like pressure.. it starts feeling like peace 💭
